چکیده

The forward problem of electrocardiography involves computing the potentials and currents within the body from a known electrical potential distribution or activation sequence in the heart. This paper details an efficient computational model of the human torso for use in electrocardiographic problems. The model uses a combined finite element/boundary element method which uses bicubic Hermite basis functions. The model geometry is obtained by fitting to data points measured from magnetic resonance images (MRI) using a non-linear fitting procedure. Simple forward simulations of the normal heartbeat are used to calculate standard `12 lead' electrocardiographic (ECG) signals and body surface potential

Forward problem of electrocardiography: is it solved?

BACKGROUND The relationship between epicardial and body surface potentials defines the forward problem of electrocardiography. A robust formulation of the forward problem is instrumental to solving the inverse problem, in which epicardial potentials are computed from known body surface potentials. Here, the accuracy of different forward models has been evaluated experimentally. METHODS AND RE...

Considering chain to chain competition in forward and reverse logistics of a dynamic and integrated supply chain network design problem

In this paper, a bi-objective model is presented for dynamic and integrated network design of a new entrant competitive closed-loop supply chain. To consider dynamism and integration in the network design problem, multiple long-term periods are regarded during planning horizon, so that each long-term period includes several short-term periods. Furthermore, a chain to chain competition between t...

Kinematic Mapping and Forward Kinematic Problem of a 5-DOF (3T2R) Parallel Mechanism with Identical Limb Structures

The main objective of this paper is to study the Euclidean displacement of a 5-DOF parallel mechanism performing three translation and two independent rotations with identical limb structures-recently revealed by performing the type synthesis-in a higher dimensional projective space, rather than relying on classical recipes, such as Cartesian coordinates and Euler angles. In this paper, Study's...
